This week Access Industries celebrated the retirement of Guech “Hong” Thea. Hong has been with us for 11 years, working as a production operator at our Horsley Park facility. According to Hong, it’s time to retire to help look after her gorwing family.
The Horsley Park team provided some huge sponge cakes as well as passing the hat around to present Hong with an envelope full of cash to spend on herself.
Co-worker Dave suggested in his farewell speech that there is good and bad about retirement:
The good being that “you don’t have to worry anymore about getting caught doing nothing”, and the bad being “you never get a day off”.
