As we progress through 2024, we are delighted to see a constant growth of new job starts for people with disability.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have been able to continue our recruitment and support process to encourage more people with disability to find meaningful and sustainable employment with Access Industries.
During February we employed 4 more people – 2 in Sydney and 2 in Newcastle. We are well on track to reach and even exceed our goal of 15 new employees by end of June 2024.
Our Sydney site also currently has 19 students with disability engaged in our regular Work Experience program and Newcastle has 3 students. Our aim is to provide a seamless pathway to employment for these students when they finish school. Thank you for your support!
