Access Knowledge has received funding to provide subsidised training under the NSW Smart and Skilled program. The Smart and Skilled funding program is provided by the NSW Government for Vocational Education and Training in NSW.
The aim is to help people into the workforce by providing essential knowledge and skills to find a job and/or advance their career. Smart and Skilled also has a focus on improving language literacy and numeracy skills and job skills to find suitable employment.
Through the Smart and Skilled program, Access Knowledge provides subsidised training for the these qualifications:
- MSM30116 Certificate III in Process Manufacturing
- SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail
- FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways
Under the above qualifications we provide training as:
- Full qualifications
- Part qualifications/skill sets
- Traineeships for eligible courses
Access Knowledge has experience in providing training to a variety of learners, including people with learning needs. We have created training programs to meet the needs of learners with a disability and/or low literacy levels and adjusted assessments used to support positive outcomes.
To ensure training meets the needs of our learners, we work with employers, job agencies and community organisations such as SLES/pre-employment organisations to develop a customised training program. In our experience we have found that this additional support leads to training success.
